Saturday, September 21st from 9:30 am-12:00 pm – Conference House Park Green Neighborhood: Forest Restoration
We will install deer guards on young trees to protect them from the local deer population! Volunteers will be trained to identify which species of trees deer favor, how to identify browse, and how to properly install the guards onto the trees. This event is hosted in partnership with Council Member Joseph Borelli.
Saturday, September 28th, 2 PM to 3:30 PM
Staten Island OutLOUD presents a FREE participatory reading program of Historian Nathaniel Philbrick’s “In the Heart of the Sea” –It’s the story of the whale ship Essex, which was capsized by a whale in 1820. It inspired Herman Melville as he began work on Moby Dick. We’ll feature a book giveaway, readings, and live maritime music by Bob Wright- Good for all ages!
Sunday, October 6th, 12 PM to 4 PM – Cathy’s Halloween FUN…ANZA
General Admission: $5; Pumpkin Patch: $2, Haunted Kitchen: $2 Music, Refreshment Stand, Face Painting, Seasonal Activities & Games, Costume Parade
Saturday, October 12th, 12 PM to 3 PM – Fall Tea:
Savor the flavors of Autumn! Enjoy tea and delightful edibles in the Conference House Kitchen.
Take a self-guided tour of the House, and a chance for unique items with our Raffles. $30 per person, by reservation only.

Friday, December 6th at 7 PM – Grand Illumination
Meet in front of the Conference House to welcome the holidays by singing
Christmas carols while the historic house is illuminated from within.
Enjoy free hot cider and cookies. This event is held completely outdoors, so please dress warmly!
Sunday, December 8th, 11 AM to 4 PM – Colonial Christmas – (Donation $3)
Tour the beautifully decorated Colonial Manor House,
Enjoy live seasonal music and free hot cider and cookies.
Shop for fine crafts and gifts in the Kitchen Marketplace, and also in the Visitors Center.
Children may visit with “Father Christmas” who will give each child a free gift.
Raffle drawings take place at 4 pm
