2021 Tentative Calendar of Events
For our mutual safety at all planned events, whether indoor or outdoor, masks must be worn and social distancing guidelines must be followed.
Exhibit Opening – “George Way Treasures at Conference House” – Postponed, new date to be determined.
Historic House and All Group Tours – Opening of Museum – Postponed
House Reopens: Tours will begin again on Saturday, May 1st by appointment only, on a limited basis on Saturdays and Sundays from 12noon – 4pm Appointments may be made by calling 718-984-6046 in advance, or on site depending on availability. Masks must be worn and social distancing guidelines followed.
Sunday, May 30th: Popup Musical Event in the Park and Historical Readings led by SI OUTLOUD
Sunday, June 6th 11am – 4pm: South Shore Artists Group Fence Show
Sunday, June 13th: Popup Musical Event in the Park and Historical Readings led by SI OUTLOUD
1776 Peace Conference Celebration – Saturday, September 18th, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm (Rain Date: Sunday, September 19th) – 245th Anniversary Commemoration and Historical re-enactment of the 9/11/1776 Peace Conference. Interactive outdoor museum displays and demonstrations.
Harvest Festival (w/ outdoor market) – Saturday, October 9th, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm (Rain Date: Sunday, October 10th)
Grand Illumination Tradition – Friday, December 3rd at 7:00 p.m.
Colonial Christmas – Sunday, December 5th, 10:00 am to 4:00pm
